Conor Buckley - Co-Founder & CEO

Through the years of developing Longship, while working on energy pilot projects, Conor developed the vision of EPO. Conor was awarded Cork Person of the Year 2009, and is well known in West Cork for his work in restoring the Cork/Swansea Ferry. Conor also founded and was CEO for over 10 years of a successful travel company, myguideTravel. Conor completed his MBA in the US. Conor has been the driving force in Longship since it's inception.

Bill Klaus - Co-Founder & CFO

Bill has been in the food and beverage industry for over 20 years with a focus on finance and IT.  Bill was the CFO for a US food processor, where he was head of the energy team and negotiated the energy contracts for several manufacturing plants. Bill has his Green CFO Certification. Bill has worked closely with Conor's formation and evolution of Longship.

Marcin Trojnacki - Engineering

As part of the Longship team Marcin provides the engineering expertise in the EPO development. Marcin attained a Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering Degree and specialised in Energy Engineering. Marcin successfully introduced a business wide KPI system and managed a number of projects in the energy efficiency field such as the upgrade of the electrical infrastructure while working at Beamish and Crawford. Marcin's skills include high level numerical analysis, management of complex projects allied to strong team focus, resourceful, innovative, and a solution provider. Marcin is now the Chief Energy Engineer at Longship.

Joan O'Sullivan - Energy Intern

Joan joined the Longship team through the Cork Institute of Technology internship programme.  Joan is completing her degree in Business Studies in CIT. She works part time in Longship where she is responsible for Marketing and HR in the company.

Micheal Duggan - Operations

Micheal joined Longship as an Operations Manager. Micheal provides energy management services to clients in Ireland and in the US. He is involved in developing implementation strategies for use in client's sites. Micheal is a results driven professional with accomplishments in Operations Management, Project Management and Engineering roles.

Garrett Blake - Engineering

Garrett has recently joined Longship as an Energy Manager. He is a qualified Mechatronic Engineer and holds a masters degree in Sustainable Energy from University College Cork. Garrett has experience from working in the pharmaceutical sector and has also previously worked as an energy engineer with Cork County Council where he was responsible for energy efficiency and the development of energy policies.
