Our Managing Director Conor Buckley recently won Cork Person of the Year 2009. In addition to helping our partners reduce their energy costs in 2009, Conor devoted a considerable amount of his free time to help form the West Cork Tourism Co-operative.

Last year the co-op raised over €9 million to buy the M.V. Julia. Trading under the Fastnet Line brand a wholly owned subsidiary of the co-op she will bring almost 100,000 tourists to Ireland every year. This means a boost of €50m each year to the local economy. It is also a boost to all our partners in the Hotel & Leisure Industry as well as our partners in the Food Industry.
